Get to Know Us – Our Background

Although CoinGambling was launched in 2017, the team has been active in the online gambling industry since 2008. The website was originally designed to be a simple informative portal about popular cryptocurrencies and casino games, without any brand audits or reviews on them.

However, since cryptocurrencies were just gaining momentum then, the initial version of the site was just a test as we wanted to see how the future looked. Over time, it became clear that cryptocurrency gambling was here to stay, so we realised we needed to provide readers with better information.

The website was moved to its current design in the beginning of 2024. We redesigned the structure and added many new page types. The team is actively working on introducing new functionalities, including the availability of different languages to enhance our worldwide reach.

The Team

The company behind CoinGambling is located in Tallinn, Estonia. Up until late 2022, the technical optimization of the site was done by freelancers, which made it relatively slow. However, a developer joined our team in October, followed by a content manager/SEO specialist in November.

Since the inception of the company, we have actively worked with writers and translators from different countries. We intend to continue working with more and expand our team as needed.

Currently, the team is spread outside Estonia, including places like North Macedonia, Poland, Nigeria, Japan, Italy, Brazil, and Chile. This diverse team includes a web developer, designer, marketing, content, SMM and SEO experts, translators, and most importantly, casino analysts.

Timeline of the Company

As mentioned, our team has been active in the gambling industry long before the launch of CoinGambling. This has helped us gather enough experience and understand how the system works.

We started working majorly in the poker segment from 2008 to 2013 until the poker boom ended. After that, we went into the casino/sportsbook business. In 2015, we began our first projects with cryptocurrency.

• 2011 and 2012 were the season of offline poker tournaments in Tallinn, which we helped organise.
• Over the period from 2014 to 2018 we have accumulated the experience in partnership management and marketing working on a variety of first-party and third-party gambling affiliate sites.
• 2015 was marked by participation in the first crypto-gambling project, namely consulting and project management of the world's first licensed crypto-casino.
• The following years were the time to take a step forward and contribute to the gambling industry by sharing our accumulated experience, which led to the launch of 4 of our own partnership projects of various directions, one of which is CoinGambling, in which we focused on cryptocurrency gaming, was launched in the summer of 2017.
